Who are we
Formally known as Lady J Clearing and Customs Consultant, Akape Clearing and Forwarding Agent is a customs clearing and consultancy agent that forwards, stores and handles our clients goods and valuables.
Akape was founded in 2016 by Mrs. Maretsépile Rose Lebona (left) and Miss Lillian Lefulesele Tsobo (right). Since then, they have managed to propel their clearing and forwarding agent with their custom clearing experience. Both Mrs. Lebona and Miss Tsobo have worked for one reputable agent in South Africa with 9 and 11 years respectively.
From dealing with our clients documents efficiently and expeditiously, Akape ensures that both the importing and exporting parties are sorted and are able to cross the Lesotho and South African border with no hassle.
At Akape Clearing and Forwarding Agent we take consultancy very seriously as it requires expert knowledge and skill for it to go smoothly. Our understanding and experience with customs clearance is at the top of its game. We always ensure that our clients have everything they need to export or import their goods and that they comprehend and comply to the regulations of the forwarding processes across borders. These procedures are complex and can sometimes take long but that is why we make cross-border look easy.
